Cleopatra for Sketch Dailies! Joined this really late so I’m gonna try my best to catch up haha. Also just to let you guys know, I have a Twitter now so if you’d like to, feel free to talk to me!
HAPPY 6 MONTHS LISA~! I LOVE YOU~!!
Collab with her.
I did the sketch and she coloured it :DD
Here’s a little thing I drew with my boyfriend! I haven’t been drawing much lately since starting school again but I’ll definitely try to draw more soon!
Film studies of Atonement because the cinematography and scenes in this movie were just so picturesque and beautiful, I had to do some studies. Didn’t really stay accurate to the actual film stills and stylised it my own way. The compositional elements are still there, just not the exact colours and lighting. Was somewhat channelling Dominique Louis’s painterly pastel style for the second study and I like how it turned out :)
Frozen fanart, yay! Been wanting to do some fanart ever since Peter and I went out to watch Frozen on Christmas Day. Loved little Anna and Elsa, they were just so cute! Was also inspired by Brittney Lee’s amazing visual development work on Frozen :)
Golden sunset. Gotta do more landscapes and try to incorporate more story into my drawings :)
Coloured and finished a little sketch I did a couple days ago. Going for a more simplistic approach. I also made an Instagram account so if anyone would like to follow, here it is.
Some more film studies from いま、会いにゆきます / Be With You. Haven’t been drawing much lately… Gotta draw more before school starts!
Film studies of one my favourite movies, いま、会いにゆきます / Be With You. Gonna do these every week as an exercise to improve my colours and compositions. Figuring out the colours without eyedropping and painting the lights and shadows was quite challenging but overall it was fun!
Bee and Puppycat dancing among the stars :)
Another drawing for Akatskiiez. Will be posting fanart every Friday or Saturday from now on :D
Happy New Year everyone!
Since 2014 is the Zodiac Year of the Horse, I decided to do this illustration which was also inspired by the simplicity of Tyrus Wong’s paintings. This year I’m gonna work on colour and lighting and experiment more with different styles and techniques.
